If you plan for the online business and spend resources on your website including seo, designing, etc then must go for the new domain. A dropped domain could be risky for your seo and for your business. This article explains the disadvantages of the drop domains.
What is Dropped Domain?
It is already registered domain but for some reason it was not renewed by the domain owner. The dropped domain is always available for the user to register because the domain owner not interested to run the domain anymore. Some dropped domains available with the page rank. The page rank was previously given by google when the owner worked on it.
Disadvantages of Dropped Domains :
Some domains are banned permanently due to the black hat seo techniques or the owner used it for spamming the search engines. A seo work will never be successful on these type of domains. It means lots of effort but no or very less traffic means the wasting of resources. Now ask a question to yourself : If the domain was successful then why the owner of the domain was not interested to continue. Even lots of people will not received your email if you send any information related to your website or any request or any offers because the domain already marked as spam domain and the email associated with the domain also blocked.
Its better to safe always and go for new domain name. Or if you really want to know about the history of the dropped domains then check it using wayback machine. The url is http://www.archive.org. You can check the pages added in the past. Open the pages and check. You will find lots of the pages in dropped domain was just for the advertising purpose or for spamming only.
If the domain has not been banned then check its backlinks. The backlinks has been removed by the webmasters of the websites if he found that the website is no more online or now it is parked domain. And if the parked pages visited by search engine then search engine punish it.
Means its not beneficial either banned or parked. And if you purchase it then you will contact to search engines later and send them mail for re-inclusion of your website.
